What gives The Mungo Foundation’s
approach to caring and supporting people its uniqueness
is its rootedness in sound Christian values. The reason
that we provide services is not based on financial reward
but on a belief that we, as a Church organisation, should
be involved in providing a range of services to people
with different needs so that they may live their lives
to the full in the community and realise their full
potential. We believe that our services should be organised,
managed and developed in a manner which reflects the
strong principles of social justice and social inclusion,
upon which they were founded.
All our services are open to the community at large,
they are not dedicated narrowly to the needs of Church
members but reach out to people of all faiths and
none.
The Mungo Foundation is committed to delivering services
on the basis of three professional core values. We
strongly advocate the principles of Life, Justice
and Community and we believe that these three underlying
principles are evident in our work.
