Contractual Hours

Full Time: 38 hours per week.  Part Time hours as advertised.


Competitive Salaries.

Other Payments

Overtime: Paid at basic hourly rate.

Sleepover / On-Call Payment: £29.77.

Mileage: 40p per mile.


By BACS on the last working day of every month.  Payment is made based on the basic hours worked each month.  Only Overtime, Sleepovers and Relief Hours worked are paid one month in arrears.  Employees are not required to work any lying time.

Holiday Entitlement

30 days, rising to 32 after successful completion of 5 years’ service.  Relief staff will receive a quarterly entitlement based on actual hours worked, up to a maximum of 28 days per annum. 

Other Leave

Maternity / Adoption Leave.  Up to 52 weeks leave, 39 of which are paid.  Enhanced payments are made to permanent employees with 26 week's or more continuous service. Relief staff will receive statutory payments, if eligible.

Paternity Leave. Up to 2 weeks paid leave; 1 week at basic full pay with the final weeks being paid at statutory payment rate.
