Celebrating Christine Copeland
Christine Copeland was a resident at Crannog, who sadly passed away earlier in Spring 2019. As a mark of respect the Crannog Summer Fundraiser was renamed in her honour. Christine’s family were involved in the organizing committee, and generously made a substantial donation.
We raised
£3,875
smashing our £500 target!

Crannog Care Home arranged the fundraiser to pay for garden furniture, and a much-needed garden makeover. What started as Bingo Night hoping to raise £500 turned into an evening of serious entertainment!
It was held in Knightswood British Legion on Friday 12 July and featured a raffle, auction, tombola, buffet, karaoke, cabaret and dancing until midnight. We sold over sixty tickets in one week and the final ticket sales were over 100!
Thanks to the generous support of local businesses our raffle, auction and tombola were well stocked, with over 50 contributions and donations. Thank you to everyone who took part, and to the Copeland family in particular.
