Pension
TMF provide a generous pension scheme through Scottish Widows which is open to employees.* We will contribute 4% of your monthly pay, and you will pay a net contribution of 3.2%. *Relief workers can join the People’s Pension scheme and pay a net contribution of 4% and we pay 3%.

Annual Leave
All employees* are entitled to a minimum of 30 days’ annual leave inclusive of bank holidays per annum (based on full time hours).
Annual leave entitlement increases after five years’ completed service.
*Relief workers receive annual leave based on 28 days per annum

Joiner Bonus
We offer all new frontline care and ancillary staff up to Team Leader a joiner bonus of £800 upon successful completion of their probation period (6 months).
*This is not applicable to relief or Head Office roles and is subject to conditions.

Refer A Friend/Family member payment
We actively encourage all staff to refer friends and families for front line care roles*. For a successful referral we make a payment of £450 (based on full time hours – pro rata for part time hours) to the referrer when the referee successfully completes their probation period (6 months.)
*Does not include relief roles.

Mungo Money
Mungo Money is our staff discount scheme which gives all staff access to a variety discounts from leading shops and online retailers. Choose from major supermarkets, high street shops, cinema tickets, holidays, savings cards which can be used in shops and restaurants.

Employee Assistance
You will have access to an Employee Assistance Programme which can help you to deal with personal problems which may be affecting you. Services including short-term counselling and emotional support, advice on work, money management and debt support and personal legal information which can be accessed by you and your immediate family.

Learning & Development
To ensure you are fully equipped to carry out your role, we offer excellent training and development opportunities. We have developed our training in conjunction with our staff and managers to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to effectively carry out your role. We offer a range of internal training programmes and access to externally accredited qualifications, most of which we fully fund.

Cycle to Work Scheme
We operate a Cycle to Work Scheme which allows employees* to obtain a new bike and safety accessories, making significant savings through a salary sacrifice arrangement enabling you to spread the cost. The scheme window is open twice a year and is communicated to all staff. *Not available to relief workers.

Enhanced Sick Pay
We provide generous sick pay arrangements which increases with length of service up to a maximum of 25 weeks’ full pay and 25 weeks’ half pay for eligible employees. Relief workers receive statutory sick pay based at the current rate.

Enhanced maternity/paternity/adoption pay
We provide generous maternity, paternity and adoption pay arrangements for eligible employees.

Concert for Carers
At The Mungo Foundation, we deeply value the dedication and hard work of our care staff. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce our registration with Concerts for Carers, a compassionate initiative created during the challenging times of 2020. This no for profit charity partners with top venues like the Scottish Event Campus, OVO Arena Wembley, and many more, offering free tickets to major events. As part of our team, you now have the opportunity to register for access to these incredible events.

Blue Light Card
All Mungo Foundation employees and relief workers are eligible to sign up for a Blue Light Card. This is a discount platform for emergency services, NHS, social care sector and armed forces. Join as a member for a small registration cost (£4.99 for 2 years) and you will get access to thousands of savings discounts online and on the high street.

Blue Light Tickets
As well as the Blue Light Card, Blue Light Tickets offer complimentary tickets to various events such as venues, sports teams, attractions, and festivals. Participate in ballots or secure first-come-first-served tickets for a wide range of events throughout the UK.

Hybrid Working
For employees working in selected roles we operated an agile working policy which enables staff to work at home for a proportion of the week.
*This is role specific and applies only to Head Office roles.

Credit Union
All Mungo Foundation staff have access to the Credit Union operated by SCVO. A credit union is a great way to save or borrow money at competitive rates.

Life Assurance
We provide a death in service payment for employees of 2 x salary and for relief workers a lump sum of £5,000 will be paid.
