A care at home and housing support service for adults with learning/physical disabilities in Barrhead.
From our base in the Westbourne Business Centre we offer Housing Support and Care at Home services for individuals who stay in and around Barrhead. We also have a very active Outreach team, helping people to go on holiday and enjoy experiences they wouldn’t necessarily be able to access otherwise.
Everyone we support has their own tenancy. Whether you are staying on your own, or are moving into a shared home, if you think you could use an extra hand sometimes, we’re here for you. We have a flexible, person-centred approach that is all about helping those we support to do the things they want to do.
Do you need a hand with day to day things, like paying the bills, cooking or housework? We can help with that. Or maybe there’s a social group or activity that you’d like to attend, but you’re not sure whether you’ll be able to go on your own? We can help with that too.
Every person is different – the support they receive should be unique to them, so that’s what we do.
How to get involved
If you or someone you know would like to access support through our Barrhead project, you will need to be referred to us by the Social Work Department of the East Renfrewshire Council. If you’re not sure how to do that, just contact us using the details on the bottom of this page, and we can talk you through it.
3 Ways We Can Help
Support to Maintain your Tenancy
We can help with the day to day things to help you maintain your tenancy, like paying bills.
Support to be involved in your community
Whether you need a companion to go with you to social clubs, or help you around the shops, we’re here to help.
Support to do the things you want to do
Whatever you’re hoping to do, we’ll try and help you do it. E.g. hydrotherapy.
