Glasgow Housing Support Services

A care at home and housing support service for adults with learning/physical disabilities across Glasgow.

About

From our base in the East End of Glasgow we offer care at home and housing support services to people over the age of 18 across Glasgow. Everyone we support has their own tenancy with local Housing Associations.

We work with the people we support to develop Outcome Based Support Plans. We will make sure that the support that we provide is tailored to helping you to get what you want to out of life. We can help with day to day things, like helping you to pay bills and sustain your tenancy, to more fun stuff, like outings and helping you to access more opportunities in the local community. Whatever outcomes you are looking to achieve, we’re here to help you achieve them.

Our service is very flexible – we can offer a few hours a week, or support every day, depending on what works for you. Our staff are all encouraged to communicate regularly with families and keep them up to date with the support that we’re offering; everyone we support also has their own dedicated keyworker who is particularly helpful when it comes to liaising with families and other professionals.

How to Get Involved

Most of the people who receive support through G.H.S.S. are referred to us via their Local Authority’s Social Work Department. However, it is also possible to self-fund your support. If you are looking to pay for your support directly, or you have any questions about the referral process, feel free to contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
