Lanark: a friendly, warm and homely service.
Our Lanark Project is a residential care home service for adults who have learning and support needs, and in some cases associated physical, sensory and mental health support needs. Based in a quiet residential area in Lanark, the service is spread across two small separate houses, with five residents in St Mungo’s and four residents in Mousebank Road.
We support our residents to live independent, meaningful lives, as valued citizens within their community. We help them to realise their potential and experience new opportunities; this push to lead fulfilling lives is reflected in the outcomes that they work towards.
Our team of experienced, highly trained staff have established warm, caring relationships with our residents. We provide the highest standard of personalised care that recognises and respects the rights, independence and individuality of the people who use our service.
Working with our residents we build personalised support plans that are based around their choices, wishes and aspirations; whether they have a long held dream to go to Disneyland, want to sing like Elvis, or want to decorate their room a certain way, we help to make it happen.
We love living in Lanark, and encourage and sustain friendly and supportive links with our local community. Whether it’s shopping locally or getting involved in local cooking classes or gardening groups, our community links help to enhance our residents’ life skills. We have planned guided walks while litter picking to ensure our environment is kept nice for the many visitors to our lovely town.
A home we support our residents to get involved in a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, including gardening, baking, art, games and more. From helping with recruitment to choosing what’s on the menu for dinner, our residents are at the heart of everything we do.
"Your kindness and dedication has been outstanding through hard times. Truly wonderful carers." Alison, Family Member
