Paul McMahon

A solicitor specialising in employment law, Paul is the founder/director of McMahon Employment Law, an award-winning specialist employment law practice. With 20 years’ experience, he advises employers on the full spectrum of employment law and HR issues including recruitment, contractual issues, TUPE and restructure advice, discipline and grievance, absence management, family-friendly rights, discrimination and dismissal. Paul is also an employment judge, sitting in tribunals across Scotland. In addition to teaching post-graduate law students on the legal practice course at The University of Strathclyde, and having taught on employment law masters courses, Paul regularly provides practical training to clients and speaks at conferences. Paul has been recognised by the UK-wide independent legal directories, The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners, in the field of employment law in Scotland. Paul joined the Enable Scotland board in January 2017.
